our process

What’s first?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online or another way can make all the difference. Don’t know how to start? We will guide you.

Generally, businesses want content in some form or another. If its a commercial, web series, interviews, or anything else we’ll schedule a time to ask you questions and get a better understanding of what you’re trying to accomplish. With over 15 years of experience, we can help guide you through the process and avoid pitfalls along the way.

How much does it cost?

Typically after our initial meeting, we will send you an invoice with a pretty quality estimate with the parameters you’ve set forth. If things change in the middle of the project, we may need to talk further about increasing our budet to cover labor and equipment. This doesn’t happen very often.

An initial deposit of 50% will be requested to get things solidified.

After a deposit is received, one of our producers will get going on your project. Finding locations, solidifying talent, scripts and shot lists. We run everything by you to ‘OK’ it, then move on to production.

Production

We will schedule with you a day for our shoot. We set up for about an hour to an hour and a half before hand, problem solving and lighting to get everything right. You can arrive whenever you are needed or whenever you please.

Half days are about 6 hours or less, and Full days can range from 8 hours to 13 hours. We try not do go past 12. Its no fun. We’re too old for that.

post production

After the shoot, we store the footage on a hard drive and start to get to work. Edits can take anywhere from 48 hours to a month, depending on the complexity of the project. We then deliver you preview files and take notes to get the videos just right.

Once a final version is declared, we will ask for the remaining balance and deliver your video. If you want raw files, thats fine with us too.

We do archive your footage for your convenience.

repeat the process

Need more content? That’s great! We love repeat clients. They are our fave. If you have a schedule to meet with reoccurring content, lets talk about how to best meet your needs. A retainer may be applicable.

We assume you probably have some idea what to do with your commercial, photos, or interviews, but if you need consultation about publishing, we can help with that too.
